Dr. Soderquist and Dr. Weis along with their staff of professionals would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our blog! We have two convenient office locations in Charlottesville, Virginia – One at 1101 East Jefferson Street and one at 229 Connor Drive. Our mission is to provide you with the most advanced and professional orthodontic treatment available in an office environment that features state-of-the-art equipment and very knowledgeable and caring staff.

Meet our Doctors

Dr. Soderquist has been practicing orthodontics in Charlottesville since 1978. He earned his DDS degree at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Soderquist is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of numerous orthodontic associations and foundations. Dr. Soderquist is very active in the Charlottesville community and enjoys many outdoor activities when not working.

Dr. Weis has been practicing orthodontics in Charlottesville since 1996. He earned his DDS at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Weis is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a 2010 Preferred Invisalign Provider. He too is a member of many orthodontic associations and foundations as well as a director on the Board of the Charlottesville
Community Children's center. Dr. Weis is active in the community and he enjoys coaching children's sports teams and partaking in numerous outdoor activities when not at work.

Our Staff

We are sure that you will enjoy meeting and getting to know our friendly and professional staff members. Collectively they have decades and decades worth of experience within the orthodontics field. Our office environment is very friendly, nurturing and one we are sure you will enjoy spending a bit of time in. Our Treatment

We treat children and adults of all ages. We encourage early orthodontic evaluation as it is important to recognize problems early on so that they can be addressed in the shortest amount of time and with the least possible expense. Many of our patients happen to be adults. Orthodontic treatment as an adult can dramatically change your physical appearance for the better as well as raise your self-esteem. The great news for patients of all ages is the fact that the newest techniques and appliances we use greatly reduce discomfort levels, cut down on the number of visits you have to make to our office and shorten treatment time.

During your initial exam, we will determine the best possible treatment for you. We offer metal braces, translucent braces, Invisalign, In-Ovation R and In-Ovation C. We offer a wide variety of payment options to meet your needs. It is our goal to provide you with affordable treatment so please do ask us about financing options, credit card payments and bank drafts. If you have insurance that covers orthodontics we will file the claims for you. To aide us in filing your claims please fill out the insurance questions on the questionnaire found on our website.
